PREFERRED EMPLOYER
We recruit and develop people who are proud to work for Headline Leisure Management and strive to provide excellent service.
Through maximising the contribution of our people, we provide the best possible service to our customers and clients, becoming the employer of choice.
Our recruitment, training and development programmes are designed to ensure that we attract the right people and develop their talents and retain their services.
We further understand the fight for talent in South Africa, and pride ourselves on successfully managing our pool of talent.
This is evident in our low turnover rates of senior management, having not lost a single one in the last two years.
Over the past 18 months, Headline has been accumulating the best talent in the industry and strengthening our team and processes to realise our vision of becoming the #1 management solution.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Headline is extremely proud of its performance evaluation system, which has been developed over the past few years.
The underlying base of the system is the balanced scorecard which assesses all staffing tiers on a monthly basis, not only on financial performance but equally on the drivers of such performance, namely customer, business processes and training and development.
Associates are given clear objectives every year, which tie into the vision of the company. Monthly assessments are carried out to recognise good progress, help and identify training needs as well
as coach sub par performance.
ASSOCIATE DEVELOPMENT
The Headline College is headed up by Bryan O’ Connor. The courses available through this great initiative are wide ranging, from service skills and product knowledge to life skills, which assist staff with knowledge of debt handling, buying a house and the like.
Headline further recognises that as an active member in the local communities in which we operate, we have a duty to uplift and educate local people; it is with this in mind that we are committed to facilitating AIDS training and awareness to each and every Headline employee. |
